Why oh Why....I poured so much hope and love into you and this is what you do to me!!!

Gahhhh they absolutly desecrated my favourite cartoon of all time, I can't believe how terrible the Dragonball movie realy was, the story was incredibly inconsistent and at some points downright appalling. The Actors, badly chosen, The guy who played Yum-Cha was absolutly ghastly (The only actor that I would consider to be alright would be Justin Chatwin the guy who played goku). In all, it would be an insult to even compare this to the much beloved anime and their gonna make a sequel, a sequel to a terrible movie is an atrocious combination, though if they manage to actually improve on what they've done I may be able to forgive them but chances a very, very slim

Hmmmm

hmm just wonderin if anybody can help me decide what expedition to do at the NZ venture, I'm thinking about either going sea kayacking and mountain biking through the sounds which apparantly has some of the best scenery in New Zealand or walking the Southern Crossing across the Tararua Ranges, which also looks amazing, Rock climbing on some of the best climbs in new zealand or going caving which also involves bungie jumping. I'm thinkin the Sounds

Dragonball and whatnot

I was told to post something on this ere blog, of course I had no idea what to post about, so in the end I decided to post about my doings on the internet at this moment. Currently I am rather quite excited about the Dragonball movie coming out. The trailer looks alright I just hope they haven't destroyed probably my favoutrite childhood cartoon. Oh and Dawn of War 2 comes out in two day I dought any of you that actually bother to read this will care but I am quite a fan of the first dawn of war games and number 2 looks awesome. One thing I have noticed about dragonball or well 2 things actually, Bulma has black hair when she should have green and master rochi is not old with white hair but more of a middle aged man with black hair, oh well I hope it's good.

....not sure what to call this one

Well the Venture has gone and went, it was fantastic. Now all eyes turn towards the New Zealand Venture in 2010, not sure if I'll go to that , just have to see how everything plays out. Hmmm I'm rather terribly at this blogging business, it would seem that between the majority of my posts are gaps in time of a few weeks , to the more common time of a few months and in quite a few I go on to promise to write more often which of course doesn't happen. I'll try from now on if I do have something worth blogging about to do so. Incidentally tomorrow I'm heading off to Wilson's prom with the Venturers where it's notorious for being cooler than here so hopefully the mercury won't get to the 40's there, hmmm that may give me something to blog about we'll see.
...Until next time

I'm escaping 2 Venture

Well off I go to the 14th annual Australian Venture which will be held in W.A. I am rather very excited, nervous, but excited. The basic rundown of what I will be doing over there is:
Week 1- shall be spent traveling around W.A with the Vic contingent doing all the touristy stuff
Week 2- shall have me sailing ocean on the Leeuwin II a traditionally rigged sailing ship which is over 50m long
Week 3- The final week of the venture, during this week I'm gonna be paintballing watching movies going to adventure world and laying around the resort havin fun.
All in all it shall be pretty fun, I'll try to post on here when I get to but I'm not entirely sure when that will be.
So until next time, this is me signing off.....

The names Bond, James Bond...or is it?

Well I've just returned from the viewing of the new Bond flick-Quantum of Solace and I shall give my opinion of it, whether it is wanted or not. First off I did thoroughly enjoy it, it was very good, a lot of action a lot of interesting locations the cars and of course as always the bond girls (and in this outing of his he doesn't sleep with the leading lady, which in this case I believed fitted the movie.)

Of course though not all was....classic bond, which is not a bad thing but being a fan of the bond movies to date there are certain things that were lacking, the classic lines "Bond, James Bond" and "Martini, shaken not stirred" were not even muttered in the movie even though there was a scene where it should of blatantly been put in, in the case of the latter. The classic gunshot down the gun barrel wasn't done until the credits and bond was lacking his "humour" if you will and the bond theme was never played.

But for this movie to be what it was these had to be as they were (except for maybe the gunshot and the theme music). The movie itself was very very good, I liked it and I guess for Bond to continue it must adapt to the new audience though I do wish for it to adapt it didn't have to lose what makes in my eyes classic Bond, Bond

Dr. T is in the house-pital

Well once again I have left my blog to care for itself, I probably should feed it more often otherwise the poor thing might die and everyone will just forget that it even existed, I know I sure did, but at this very moment I am trying to pull it back from it's close to death state and try to make it healthy, so bear with me while I attempt make it hip and fancy and breath life into it's cold clamy remains.

Music...

I find there is not much more magical than music. It is such a powerful and beautiful thing. I always find that being able to hold someones attention or catch someones attention just by playing music a very great thing. Today was the Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod and me and my friend JP were in a room full of people playing music and we started playing a song off the top of our heads called 'In the mood', during the course of this song we managed to capture the attention of almost half the room and I will tell you, it was very amazing. So for all those people out there that want to learn a musical instrument, learn a song or just plain make music, trust me when I say this and just do it, for music is one of the greatest things on this earth.

CS 4 real

After watching the latest episode of pure pwnage my friend and I realised how fun it would be to actually act like fps Doug. What began as a joke actually began to turn into an all-out war for supremacy. We used sticks as guns and then found stuff we could use for grenades and formed teams, then chose the counter-terrorist base. This game was not only made better by the people involved (6 in total) acting fairly when they got shot, but for dramatic effect, died well. Not only did this end up getting us running around and exercising without realising it but occupied us for well over two hours. It really proves your never to old to have fun, even if everything used was pretty much imaginary.

That awkward feeling

Awkward silences is there anything worse. The problem with awkward silences is everyone involved is normally feeling the same way and they always seem to end with a laugh. Awkward silences seem to happen all the time for no apparent reason they mainly seem to stem from someone feeling slightly embarrassed and no one knows what to say. People, please, we have all been in these situations and we all know how horrible they are, so please talk in these situations, try to start another conversation and stop this happening.
