The names Bond, James Bond...or is it?

Well I've just returned from the viewing of the new Bond flick-Quantum of Solace and I shall give my opinion of it, whether it is wanted or not. First off I did thoroughly enjoy it, it was very good, a lot of action a lot of interesting locations the cars and of course as always the bond girls (and in this outing of his he doesn't sleep with the leading lady, which in this case I believed fitted the movie.)

Of course though not all was....classic bond, which is not a bad thing but being a fan of the bond movies to date there are certain things that were lacking, the classic lines "Bond, James Bond" and "Martini, shaken not stirred" were not even muttered in the movie even though there was a scene where it should of blatantly been put in, in the case of the latter. The classic gunshot down the gun barrel wasn't done until the credits and bond was lacking his "humour" if you will and the bond theme was never played.

But for this movie to be what it was these had to be as they were (except for maybe the gunshot and the theme music). The movie itself was very very good, I liked it and I guess for Bond to continue it must adapt to the new audience though I do wish for it to adapt it didn't have to lose what makes in my eyes classic Bond, Bond

Dr. T is in the house-pital

Well once again I have left my blog to care for itself, I probably should feed it more often otherwise the poor thing might die and everyone will just forget that it even existed, I know I sure did, but at this very moment I am trying to pull it back from it's close to death state and try to make it healthy, so bear with me while I attempt make it hip and fancy and breath life into it's cold clamy remains.

Music...

I find there is not much more magical than music. It is such a powerful and beautiful thing. I always find that being able to hold someones attention or catch someones attention just by playing music a very great thing. Today was the Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod and me and my friend JP were in a room full of people playing music and we started playing a song off the top of our heads called 'In the mood', during the course of this song we managed to capture the attention of almost half the room and I will tell you, it was very amazing. So for all those people out there that want to learn a musical instrument, learn a song or just plain make music, trust me when I say this and just do it, for music is one of the greatest things on this earth.

CS 4 real

After watching the latest episode of pure pwnage my friend and I realised how fun it would be to actually act like fps Doug. What began as a joke actually began to turn into an all-out war for supremacy. We used sticks as guns and then found stuff we could use for grenades and formed teams, then chose the counter-terrorist base. This game was not only made better by the people involved (6 in total) acting fairly when they got shot, but for dramatic effect, died well. Not only did this end up getting us running around and exercising without realising it but occupied us for well over two hours. It really proves your never to old to have fun, even if everything used was pretty much imaginary.

That awkward feeling

Awkward silences is there anything worse. The problem with awkward silences is everyone involved is normally feeling the same way and they always seem to end with a laugh. Awkward silences seem to happen all the time for no apparent reason they mainly seem to stem from someone feeling slightly embarrassed and no one knows what to say. People, please, we have all been in these situations and we all know how horrible they are, so please talk in these situations, try to start another conversation and stop this happening.
